Festival Kvarner

Festival Kvarner
The final four events of this year’s Festival Kvarner, named after the Kvarner Gulf, a bay in the northern Adriatic Sea in Croatia, will be held from 1st September, and a new video was launched this week on its website to promote the festival and the city of Opatija where the events will take place.

Opatija is a popular summer and winter resort and is located 82 km
from Pula by road.

The new video, available in HD, contains dramatic scenes of the sea, waves, palms, lights, golden promenades, glittering chandeliers, smiling eyes interspersed with musicians performing so passionately it is as if the very ghosts of Opatija are inspiring them.

This year’s Festival Kvarner has already seen an extraordinary programme with international stars of classical music like Jordi Savall and Nigel Kennedy, and members of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras.

The four final events of the 2012 Festival will take place in the seaside town of Opatija, in the Chrystal Hall of Hotel Kvarner. The programme is available on the website via the link above, where tickets can be booked as well.
